We had a fantastic weekend, coming away with the Women’s VL and finishing 18 points shy of the overall VL.
I believe this may be the first time we’ve ever won the Men’s Champ 8+ at BUCS Head or Regatta (please correct me if wrong!!) but the results archive isn’t complete. We managed to put 45 seconds into Newcastle and overtook Edinburgh, who have bettered us all season.
Everybody in our Women’s squad walked away with a medal, most of them winning two. Our Women’s first eight also closed the gap to Newcastle and Edinburgh.
Today the dev Men dominated, picking up 3 gold medals and the dev Women picked up a silver and a couple of unlucky fourth places.
I just wanted to thank you for your continued support. It’s a great start and there’s plenty to work on but I’m so glad we could deliver and bring you all these results.
