Every January, DUBC travel out to our annual training camp in Seville. Both of the Senior Squads and some members of the Development Squad attend the camp. The 7km stretch of river available in Seville has hosted European and World Championships, so is brilliant water and boasts excellent weather conditions allowing for much more water time than we would get in the UK.

The facilities at Seville include an air conditioned erg room that looks across the water, two gyms and a glassy 7km stretch of river. Our Senior Squad take full advantage of these facilities as they follow an intensive program designed to platform them into a successful rest of the season. The Development Squad use this week as a way to accelerate their small boat skills, and adjust to increasing their tolerance to higher mileage as they build towards racing.
