At Durham we host the following events:

• Winter Challenge Cup: A BUCS Endorsed Head Race on the Tyne at Gateshead now open to all clubs. Racing VIII’s and IV’s on Sunday 28th October 2012 following Tyne LDS and TURC small boats head.  Started in 2010, the event has been a great success and this year the aim is for it to be bigger. Date for this season: 28th October
• Sculling Camp: Hosted by DUBC in partnership with Team Durham, we run two camps in July/August every year – one for Juniors and one for Seniors. Please email the Fresher Coach for details.
• NEIRC: The Indoor Rowing Championships for the North East of England. The event sees top athletes from the region competing on ergos over a distance of 2km at The Graham Sports Centre in Durham. Date: 28th November 2012
