The Club, as with any business, continually needs to invest in repairing and renewing equipment. To do this we fundraise a substantial amount each year with our various events, from the Pimms’s Tent at Durham Regatta to our very own race weekend, the Winter Challenge Cup.

However, due to the nature of the sport, this is rarely sufficient to cover our maintenance costs. For this we rely on donations from the University, but most importantly help from our Alumni. The Club is thankful for any donation, however big or small, all will help ensure the continuing success of DUBC.

This year the club is looking to replace the ageing Women’s 1st VIII “Martin”, in response to a very strong squad of women joining the squad this year.
